Please come and celebrate our 50th Hatch Chile Festival this year in the Village of Hatch, NM - the Chile Capital of the World. Festivities will be starting Friday night at 5PM with music at the Ice Box Beer Garden and with the Carnival. Saturday begins with the parade and goes on into Sunday of Labor Day weekend in Hatch, NM. Festivities start about 9AM each of Saturday and Sunday.
Parking will be in and around the Hatch High School for those of you coming off of I-25. For those coming from the West on Hwy 26, parking is at Grajeda's - right before you get to Mesilla Tire in Hatch. There will be signage to direct you there. There will be a $10 contribution to park. That fee will help us keep the Festival going for y

That fee will help us keep the Festival going for you to enjoy. There is no additional Festival Fee above the parking contribution.

Be prepared to walk or to catch SCRTD complimentary shuttles. Bring your water, sun-screen, and a hat. Don't forget the stroller for that young one. And enjoy the sights and smells of

Ticket prices are $30 per child or adult - good for all rides.

During Labor Day Weekend, our High School will be having their Softball, Volleyball, and Soccer Tournaments at the Hatch Ball Fields and at Hatch Valley Schools.

At the 2022 Hatch Chile Festival!
Join us for our 1st Hatch Chile Hat Contest. Create your own design with Hatch Chiles on cowboy hats, caps, crowns, sun hats,
beanies, fedoras, etc.
Prizes: TBA
Judging Criteria:
1. Use three or more fresh or dried Hatch Chiles
2. Attached to a Hat/Vessel
3. Creative decor & design, and use of materials
4. Hat must be modeled during the judging session
Who: Kids (0-12) Teens (13-19) Adults (20 & up)
When: Saturday 2:30 registration, judging at 3pm.

Enter your best Chile recipe, or your grown chiles into the contest. Go to the "Forms" tab above, and read/download the info. Morrow Farms won Best Mild Chile, Best Medium Chile, and Best Hot Chile in 2021. Congratulations Morrow Farms for being named Hatch Chile Festival Farmer of the Year-2021. Dates, times, and place to be announced for 2022.

The National Guard will again be providing and manning these. Check in at the Vendor area in the Pecan Orchard at the High School.
Sunday 9AM meet at the Ice Box Brewery to Register. $20-single rider; $25-couple. 10AM - first Bike out. Trip is to Nutt Bar, Hillsboro Winery, Caballo Tavern, finishing at the Ice Box Brewery by 2PM.
The contestants could not use their hands and must eat all the watermelon until no red/pink showed. Fun was had by all.

Despite a downpour at 8:30 AM, by 9 the rain stopped, and the good times rolled.
